Jhen Through My Lens: A Husband's Perspective

I wasn't sure how this would go.  Jhenny is quite picky with her blog.  She wants it this way and that.  But she insisted and insisted.  So I caved...

"Good morning Jhenny,"  I said to her as she woke up at 8:40am.  I let her sleep in after a 12am bedtime the night before. She decided to stay up to read blogs instead of cuddling with me. And as each morning is the same, she responds to her phone's blinking light. That email push drives me NUTS!

Each morning I bring her a cup of coffee (I know, I know, I'm an amazing husband) and my wife decided to put her coffee on the edge of the end table, and to our surprise we get a 12 month old screaming!  And all down her 12 month old body only clothed in a diaper, was the half hazelnut creamer half coffee.   So there Jhenny went to clean up.  She grabbed the steam cleaner and got to work.

But just moments later and to my surprise I couldn't find my wife, "where did she go I asked myself".  Lets go check the office (which is typically where I always find her).  "Aha!  I found her, looking at blogs or something.

But I was able to pry her away for  a walk down the street.  We went to the local grassy knoll to let her linger.  Then we went to the top of the street to see the trucks go by.  "Nap time Joss', lets put her down."  And not but 2 minutes later, she's right back to the computer.

But she is active with our little one, and she'll make it a point to get down on her level and play.

And that play time turns to her $6.00 Walmart Work Out time.

And in the end, our day seemed uneventful.  So she begged for a few more photos, but this time, I let her get dressed up.  And it was tiring.  She constantly wanted to see the images and go back and redo it.  Typical.

Wow!  I've finished my task.  Who would of thought that my wife wanted me to do this sort of thing; bringing out all that she does all day.  Like how she spends her time and how she manages being a wife, mother, and a business women. I am really glad that I had the chance to do this and able to share it with you all.  I am not saying I want to do this sort of thing all the time, but it was  fun.  I have a great superwomen!  We always have fun, especially working side by side.  And, Dang we make very beautiful babies!  Holla at your boy!!!!!

*Jhen:  I have to say, I'm cringing at the thought of you seeing some of these images!  I really am!  But had to let Jon have free range.  And this is the image he sees.  So with that being said, this post is his photos, editing, and writing.  I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of me, because I will probably NEVER do this again!

And after trying to figure out the ins and outs of inserting pictures, my husband has officially given up blogging!

  2. Wow. This was so cool. To see you, and your days -- through Jon's eyes. He did a very good job!!! I wonder if my hubby would do something like this. He probably would, but I'm not nearly as lenient with what photos I let him post on the internet. But then again, I look so bad in candid shots. Whereas you look beautiful.
    What a fun post!

  10. I actually loved this because I see so much of myself in these images...minus the baby, it's almost my day from the checking your phone thing to wanting to see the picture and reshoot, etc. I started laughing at his message at the bottom. My husband would say the exact same thing!
