Thanksgiving

This year we had such an amazing Thanksgiving festival, and we had so much to be thankful for.

We started our Thanksgiving day with a good sleeping in. Originally Jon thought that he would have to work Thanksgiving Day, but at the start of the work week, he found out that the job he would have had to go on was cancelled. "Thank" goodness. So we got to spend the morning just to ourselves, however, we had so much to do.

Jon helped me cut out tickets I had made for our church's Women's Ministry Event that is coming up in early December. That took about an hour. I also had to make a green bean caserole that I had promised to bring to the in-laws that afternoon, as well as clean myself up.

We officially began the festivities by arriving around lunch time at Grandma & Grandpa Stark's house where we had such a blast with the family. It was good eatin' as well as lots of laughs. We were sitting next to Jon's cousins who make for good and funny conversations. Then we traveled to our Marriage Group leaders house for a Thanksgiving Dinner with a housefull of people we had never met. But that made it even more fun as we were all scattered at different tables forcing us to mingle. Needless to say, I met a lot of Loma Linda Dental students and one previous USC football team manager.

That next morning I met my brother and friends of ours, Dennis and Gina, at 3:30am at the Kohls parking lot to brave "Black Friday." I can't get into details about that day, I'll spoil future events to come...

After, and without rest, I went to my parents to decorate for a Thanksgiving meal with my family. Jon had to work, but made it over just in time for food. After, we played a LONG but fun round of Apples to Apples and it was hilarious. Here's some pics of the event...
