Winter Snow

It snowed here in Southern California and it left our spring time like season more like a winter wonderland.  We're back to blue skies, fresh green grass, and cool breezes but I slightly miss the snow .  My three year old strutted her stuff on the white fluffy runway and lucky me, got some seriously good looking shots.

After our day yesterday that was full of blue skies, yellow daisies, and the smell of fresh cut grass, we woke up to grey skies and a misty fog.

I'll be honest, I was just sitting around watching Good Day LA in my pj's and Jossie was drinking her morning milk setting up her baby dolls, when I asked her if she would get dressed up for me for pictures.  Without any bribes, she said "ok mommy."  

So for no special reason, I took a few photos.  

Spring

I'm so excited for spring and to get back into gardening.  We have four planter boxes that are just waiting for new fresh life!  We don't really know what we're doing but we enjoy the process and the way Jossie gets all dirty digging for worms.  

Technically these last few days have felt like Spring with sunny days and 70 degree weather.  And I love it.  We've set up our outdoor tables, hung our lights and ready for communal meals outdoors by sunset.  Oh wouldn't that be lovely!  Yes.  Yes it would.

Not much has gone on over here.  The flu swept over for a time, we switched bedrooms up, and been trying to get out of the house as much as possible.  Oh how I'm so ready for Spring!
