And So It Begins!

Well, here I am, wide awake at 5:19am! It's become somewhat normal for me to be awake now, and to be quite honest, I am not enjoying it! I know one of the joys of pregnancy is the frequent bathroom breaks, but when it comes like clockwork at 2am then at 3:30am, then again at 5am, I'm not the happy camper. Plus, I have to add that almost every day this week Jon's been leaving for work at 3:30 in the morning.

So, instead of tossing and turning in bed trying to fall back asleep, I force myself to sit in front of the computer in hopes that I'll tire my eyes out. So what can I think of to creatively say... nothing.

Well, I can address one issue, since I'm half conscious. I'm not a fan of people trying to degrade my pregnancy! I value advice. I value opinions! But I do not value people making fun of me and the fact that their opinion lies with the idea that I'm just an ignorant newbie. EER. Now I'm awake and passionate!

I understand that there is so much I have to learn and understand when it comes to pregnancy, but don't steal that experience from me! We all had our beginnings of being new to the idea of having a little human being develope inside our wombs, but we each had to experience for ourselves! Granted someone can say, "oh just wait till your seventh month," but do not mock me when I have to pee for the fifth time during dinner and you think I'm pampering myself or making a bigger deal, because you didn't have to during your sixth week. This baby is Jon and mines alone. This pregnancy is ours to experience and I welcome the joy and love anyone has to give! But when you degrade the very essence of me trying to discover this adventure, then the line has been crossed!

So, again, here I am at 5:29am, and now instead of tired, I'm all fuled up! I'm sure so many of you previously preggo ladies have experienced what I'm talking about, and I know I'll get over it. But please, if you have something to say about the little bundle of joy growing inside me, then let it be positive advice, personal experiences, joyful comments and loving acalades. :0)
