So what happened on my birthday? Well, on the actual day, my boss made sure that all of the classes I was instructing got to celebrate with cookies. Then, my coworkers took me out to lunch at Casa Trejos in Yucaipa to experience the pure pleasures of a chocolate chimichanga! Oh my goodness, it was A-MA-ZING!
That evening was youth night and sadly none of the boys were too interested in celebrating my birthday: A Big Shocker! They played Halo 3 all evening long.
To make it up to me, my amazing husband took me fishing on Saturday morning. It was a blast! Just sitting side by side with Jon was pure joy as it is, but it was fun to fish too! We didn't catch anything though. Here's pics of our experience:
