San Fran with the Fam

We love free vacations.  We really do!  Thanks to my parents, we were able to take a mini getaway to Northern California for the weekend.  It wasn't exactly the typical vacation, but we loved it anyway.  First, we trecked the 7 hours up the I-5 where all there is to view is open land of rolling hills {proof that there is still land, but please California, don't develop it with your cookie-cutter housing tracks}.  I have to brag a little here.  I'm pretty sure the hubs and I are official pros of road trips with an infant by now considering our first was 1500 miles with a 3 week old and this last 420 miles with a 7 1/2 month old.  Both successful.

Our trip was too much fun.  So many things to see, people to hug, laughter to capture, and WAY TOO MANY PICTURES.  So instead of gushing out the details of our little trip, here are just a few of my favorite moments...

{We met up with friends we met through my sister when she was at YWAM and I took a little photoshoot since the family was together for a family reunion- here's all the cousins together}

{Because everyone needs a picture at Fisherman's Warf with Alcatraz in the background}
{Below are pictures of our visit to Lafayette's Resevoire- Absolutely Beautiful}

There are two people who's love drives me crazy, but also has given me hope.  These two were high school sweethearts who never gave up on each other.  They are constantly sweet talking each other, and even though at times I roll my eyes when I catch them making out, their love story inspires me.  No time or distance can keep these two apart and no matter where they are, they can't seem to keep their hands off each other.  These two are my parents.

And this is what makes my world go round.  I get up in the middle of the night for cuddles because my heart cannot get enough of these two faces.

I had so much fun having the hubs and babe for four days away from work and home and enjoying each other's company.  I just LOVE my little family.
