Taking Risks

The things I dreamed about are far from where I am at today.  And some days I sulk in petty selfishness, while most days I'm excited for all the adventures my mind couldn't even fathom.

We're continuing to take risks as a little family.  Constantly.  And some of them are frowned upon.  All of them judged in some way or another.  And some of our risks probably weren't our most proudest moments, but soon we're about to launch another big risk.

I've come up with a lot of random ideas.  I've jumped from school to school to school unable to pin point something I'm good at and love at the same time.  I've brought Jon proposals upon proposals of business ideas that he just knows I'll never follow through with.  And only two have passed his 'belief in" phase.  One of them being photography, the other, this new venture.

So these next few months are going to be a little intimidating.  But so much fun!  I wont share what it is until our website is finished, but... it does include all things vintage and thrift.  OH SO FUN!

So since I left you in suspense, I'll soften it with my little tea cup who's looking more and more like a 2year old!

  12. Isn't it crazy how one day they look like babies and next they have that little person look? I can see her becoming that 'little person' vs a baby and she's so darn cute at it! haha

Looking forward to seeing your next venture. :)

  13. oh my. She is getting so much more mature looking. Her baby fat is slowly dropping off. Wow. It is so crazy how God creates us and allows us to watch HIS creation grow from something so small into something so sculpted and unique and hand crafted as our own child. It is so weird. But not a bad weird an intriguing and majestic weird. Excuse me I suck at speaking my thoughts clearly.

Love your blog and posts and I am excited for whatever new adventure God has you going on! Remember it is not man we fear. We fear the LORD. And only the Lord. That is all that we must fear and sometimes mankind EVEN christians cannot understand how God is moving in the lives of other believers because it isn't what they understand. But the Lord calls us out to be set apart even amongst our fellow believers... Anyways all that to say that fearing the Lord and following HIS voice is so much more important that the voice of very well intentioned and opinionated others. It is your walk with the Lord not theirs :).

  15. I'm excited to hear about this new venture too and I always love what you guys do. You are a couple who is following your hearts and your being led by the Lord. I adore these pictures of your sweet little one. I really can't get over how much of a toddler she is now! When I started following your blog she was just a little thing. Sigh. It just goes too fast!
