You might have seen, if you follow our photography blog, that our business is shifting. You can read a little bit about it HERE, but I'm about ready to divulge the changes...
Our family has decided to commit ourselves and our equipment to be used as tools in the fight for Social Justice. Our hearts have been moved to make a difference in this world. And after a year of struggling to figure out exactly where we fit in the army of World Changers, we're beginning to find our niche.
We have a vision:
"...to see the gifts and talents of other photographers as well as our own, to be used to help spread awareness of the need of the least of these around the world, to a community who can rise up and take action. It is our goal to join with many others in their efforts in reaching the lost, dying, abandoned, abused, and trafficked and to bring our communities a tangible view into the world of the hurting and provide ways to make a difference in the lives of many."
We are so excited to finally be submissive to the desires of our hearts. Recently we've been provided opportunities to travel around the world and document some of the actions organizations are taking. We have committed locally and globally to offer ourselves as living sacrifices to others. We've met with organizations and other world changers to discuss more and more opportunities to be used. And this is exciting!
We don't have it all pinned down and figured out. We're still putting together our thoughts and visions, and letting HIM take over, but I want to invite you along this crazy adventure we're about to journey into. The life of Jon, Jhen, and baby Josselyn just got a lot more interesting!
