So the littlest one, Eric, came running out from the laundry room screaming that the Devil was in the laundry room and he was scared. We giggled a little inside, but Jon, in his fatherly voice, said "Eric, you don't run from the Devil, he runs from you! Just throw Bible verses at him."
We lost focus on Eric and went about completing whatever activity we were doing, until we heard some banging noises in the laundry room. Jon called out Eric's name and Eric came running out. "What were you doing?" Jon said. "I was throwing Bible verses at the Devil like you told me to," said Eric.
Jon got up to go to the laundry room and found all our houses bibles laying scattered near the wall where Eric had "thrown the Bible verses." It was hard not to laugh!!!

Our First Relief
So we've accomplished our first set. As of tomorrow at 12 we'll get our first relief time. To be quite honest, it's a time we're quite excited for. We desperately need sleep. Four boys really keep us on our toes. All we hear is "Mr. Jon this" and "Mrs. Jhen that". After so long, our names can get quite frustrating to hear over and over and over again. But I guess that's the job description of being a parent. And overall, we love it!!!
So the updates are
1. Still no insurance although we sent in our application for Medicaid. We should hear within the next few days. My health is doing great and all the annoying 1st trimester symptoms have decreased greatly as I've officially entered my 13th week (although we still have to wait for a doctor's confirmation).
2. One of our boys is officially going home. He's been here many years and his family is now ready to have him home. We are very excited for him, but we are sad to see him go.
3. We've adjusted quite well to our new home and environment. The staff continues to welcome us and make sure we really make this place home. We're starting to get a hang of how the system works and we getting reassurance every day that this is exactly where God wanted us to be.
4. We will be going on our first group vacation next week. Our group will be traveling to Branson, MO for a weekend, but again, before then Jon and I will get a week to regroup so we'll be refreshed to work hard.
5. Lastly, which I am so excited about) I got my very first Fishing Pole and so far have caught 3 bass with it! WAHOO! Congrats to me!
MISSING YOU ALL AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK BACK FOR EXCITING UPDATES AND PICS!

Updates and Photos Ya'll Have Been Waiting For
Summer schedule has officially begun and our house gained a new little boy. In the summer, we get the joys of swimming in the pool, night outings, fishing, and late night movie watching. We currently have four boys in our home, a 17, 15, 10, and 5 year old. We are very blessed to have well behaved boys, even though "boys will be boys."
I've had a hard time struggling with the pregnancy symptoms as well as a lack of Health Insurance, but I have found Peace in My Creator and the Creator of our child, that I know that He's got it all taken care of. We've applied for Medicaid (a VERY humbling experience), and are awaiting our approval. Once we've been approved we'll have a doctor in no time.
The past couple of days have been quite the experience. We (Jon and I) continue to enjoy learning the process of the Ranch and we quite enjoy being a part of a staff of such amazing, encouraging and wise people. This is not a job, this is our life, and to think that my life entails the opportunity to be paid to raise kids and have my husband home along for the process is just plain insane!
Here's some photos of the boy's Boy Scouting camping trip and some fishing nights at the pond.
