I can't believe it has been almost six months since I first layed eyes on my little one.  She has grown so much and our life drastically changed.

Most of you know that a little over a year ago, Jon decided to let go of everything this world had to offer, sell all of our possessions and move to Arkansas to serve as houseparents to a group of boys whose parents couldn't or wouldn't take care of them.  It was love at first sight.  But heartbreakingly, we had to say goodbye just two weeks after Joss' birth and now we're humbly living out of a make-shift bedroom at my parents house (something that brings so much guts for me to share).  Since then we've been trying to catch our way back up in this world and it is much harder said than done.

This past week, Jon was sent to San Diego for a business trip (by his brother's company, Oakridge Design and Development, Inc.) and Joss and I got to tag along to make it a mini vacation.  Although only one of the four days we got to spend sightseeing with Jon, it was a big adventure for Joss and I, and gave the three of us the feeling of being our own family again!

Now that we're back, we're so ready for a place to call our own again!  We're praying and believing God will provide all the means to get us to a place where we can serve where our heart's desire is.
