Recently my little budding photography business had a newborn session, which I LOVED, and this was my ultimate favorite photo of the session. The SOOC really can stand on its own, but I also saw it's potential in Black and White... so this is what I did:
So what did I do exactly...
- Edit in CS3
- Adjusted the Curve to lighten the photo (I lighten real high when I'm going to make a photo black and white)
- Created a Black and White Layer and did NOT adjust the settings
- Added a soft Brown Solid Color layer and set it to soft light and adjusted the opacity to 60%
That's all folks...

ReplyDeleteOhh Jhen! What a perfect capture! Like you said, the SOOC could stand all on its own, but you're right. I visualized a black and white immediately. :) Congrats on the Newborn Session!! Hoping your budding business continues to grow!
