Right Click

I added the feature that disables right clicking.  This is probably going to limit my ability in getting passed around in the blog world where I want to get passed around, however, I feel it is more important to me, to disable the ability to keep from being passed around in a world I don't want to be involved in.

This is purely MY conviction and not one that I want to force onto any other or judge any other for not.  But, I do want to share my reasonings.

One of my life's purpose is to be a voice for the voiceless.  And in doing so, it's my job to become educated.  So I've constantly been absorbing information about such topics as Sex Trafficking and anything related to things exploiting children (I had to chose my words wisely as to avoid people googling words and coming to my site).

With all this new found information I'm discovering all the ways that predators are discovering and using our public sites that we innocently display ourselves and our children for their own "gain".  I am not too threatened by the risk of one showing up at my door, as much as I am about my little girl's pictures being passed around the world for people with issues to disgustingly use.  And I don't want that for any child.

I still intend to show off that darling of a babe of mine, but that's just why I disabled right click.

I don't write this to pass judgement on anyone, purely to encourage each one of us to get educated.

I just discovered, thanks to a helpful friend, that disabling right click does not prevent people from stealing my images.  BOO!  So, I guess the best means of preventing the use of my little girl being virtually abused is to be VERY cautious of what I display!
